CALDERONI, Aida Camero, born March 13, 1946, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord July 4, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Camero. She is survived by Pat, her husband of 31 years and the love of her life. Her loving family also includes her mother, Aleida Camero; son, Alan Garcia, his wife, Merit, and children, Chad and Haven; son, Albert Garcia, his wife, Wendy, and children, Rachael, Ben and Will; daughter, Anita Arredondo, her husband, Tony, and children, Ashleigh and Alyssa; son, Steve Calderoni, and children, Carli and Remi; daughter, Patricia Calderoni; son, Rick Calderoni; son, Pat Calderoni Jr.; her brother, Arthur Camero, his wife, Martha, and children (Aida's godchildren), Kathryn and Mark; and sisters-in-law, Frances Bullara and Nancy Castellano. She was a native of Tampa and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Aida received a Master of Arts degree in adult and vocational education from the University of South Florida and was employed by Hillsborough County Schools for 32 years. A dedicated educator, she served on numerous educational committees and previously served as the executive board member for the Diversified Career Technology Association of Florida and district advisor for Cooperative Education Clubs of Florida before retiring from Chamberlain High School in 2002. Aida was admired by all who knew her for her courageous, valiant battle against cancer and her passion for life. She will be remembered most for her loving, generous nature and the care she bestowed upon her loved ones. Her family members and friends meant the world to her and she will be deeply missed. Although her soul has moved on to eternal peace, she will live forever in the hearts of those she left behind. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Highway. A funeral Mass will take place at noon at the church, followed by entombment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers include Alan Garcia, Albert Garcia, Tony Arredondo, Steve Calderoni, Rick Calderoni, Pat Calderoni Jr., Arthur Camero and Mark Hampton. Honorary pallbearers include Don Scolaro, Jimmy Mangione, Jeff Pearson and David Rittenour.
